Belgische Jagd little cigars offer beginners or experienced cigar smokers perfect delight
The production of Belgische Jagd little cigars is located in the Flemish part of Belgium, which has always been dominated by trade and was more determined by the enjoyment of pleasure than the Walloon part with its industry. The J. Cortès brand was integrated into the family business through a purchase in 1986 and is now the company’s flagship.
Belgische Jagd little cigars have always been made from the same tobacco as the sisters from the Netherlands. Sumatra was officially a colony of the Dutch crown from 1824.
In the storm and drang phase of the cigar industry in the late 19th century, the Belgische Jagd little cigars were developed in line with its neighbors in the north. In recent years, however, there has been an interesting diversification of Belgian cigars. While in the Netherlands production is now almost exclusively mechanical and in huge numbers, in Belgium we still find some traditional handicraft companies that manufacture classic cigars from Belgium in the old tradition. Often, all manufacturing steps are still carried out entirely by hand. Cigars from Belgium are therefore again playing a leading role in the premium segment in Europe. Those who like to enjoy classic European dry cigars today can hardly ignore the top products from small manufacturers of Belgian cigars. Some cigar manufacturers have long waiting lists for their Belgische Jagd little cigars or only supply some of the nearby shops with their handmade cigars. The tobaccos for insert, binder and wrapper still come from Sumatra. In the meantime, the very good tobacco qualities also have to be paid for dearly, because the demand for the very spicy Sumatra tobacco is constantly increasing internationally.
In Belgium, people like to enjoy Belgische Jagd little cigars after their meal and no good restaurant cannot afford to offer a well-stocked selection of Belgian cigars. Cognac or rum are often served with Belgian cigars. The handmade Puros also go perfectly with an espresso and dark chocolate. This may also be due to the sometimes very nice assortment boxes that are offered in the Belgische Jagd little cigars trade. Dark woods are often used to decorate cigar boxes and also look beautiful to the eyes of the cigar smoker.
